The varieties of festivals and occasions we celebrate carry own significance that falls in different dates are Dashain, Tihar, Holi, MahaShivaratri, and so many Jatra as GaiJatra, GhodeJatra, BhotoJatra.
    Among all the festivals Dashain&Tihar is the two greatest festivals.  
    Dashain being the greatest festival for Nepalese is always celebrated with joyful ways. It is celebrated almost for 15 days in the month of October; 1st, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th days are most important. The 1st day is welcomed following the rituals of ‘Ghatsthapana’ by worshiping Goddess Durga for 9 consecutive days. The main day is called ‘Dashami’ which is also known as ‘VijayaDashami’, the day when Goddess Durga got victory over demons. On this day the seniors put ‘Tika’ and ‘Jamara’ giving blessings to their younger ones. This day is like a family reunion where everyone enjoys with the varieties of food, playing cards, flying kites, etc. 
    Tihar in general signifies the festival of lights.The five-day festival is considered to be of great importance as it shows reverence to not just the humans and the Gods, but also to the animals like crow, cow and dog, who maintain an intense relationship with the humans.
    The five days are celebrated as KaagTihar (Crow Tihar), KukurTihar (Dog Tihar), GaiTihar (Cow Tihar)- the main day to worship the goddess of wealth- Laxmi, GoruTihar (Ox Tihar) and the 5th day is celebrated as ‘Bhaitika’ which signifies and carries great importance for the love and concern between brothers-sisters. The sisters put the seven coloursTika on the brother’s forehead and pray for their longer life and progress. Tihar always brings the joyous and jolly mood in the families and friends; playing ‘Deusi-bhailo’.

      Early morning after breakfast drive to the second biggest city Pokhara (200km.) for 7hrs. It is one of the most picturesque spot of Nepal, enhanced by its lovely lakes Fewa, Begnas, and Rupa, magnificent views of five peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and others. This day enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and visit the temple in island “Tal Barahi Temple”, the goddess representing female power. Free time walk around lake side.

      Early morning wake up and drive to Sarangkot(1592m.) the best sunrise and sunset view point. Enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains like Annapurna, Fishtail and others. Sight~seeing to the places as: Bindabasini temple the goddess representing guardian deity of the city, Davis Fall located on the southern bank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes, World peace Stupaa massive Buddhist Stupa, is situated on top of hill on the southern shore of Phewa lake. There are many more places to explore around Pokhara which will be scheduled as per your interest.

      Pokhara-Chitwan

      After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park famous for wildlife and vegetation. Welcome drink is served and allocate to your room. After lunch join the activities: - visit the ethnic Tharu village and Tharu Cultural Museum to know about their living style. Enjoy the sunset view from Rapti River, after dinner go for Tharu Cultural dance.

      After breakfast, canoe ride in the river throughout the jungle. You can have chance to see the wild animals that comes to the river bank to quench their thirst, the crocodiles taking sun bath and different species of birds. Start jungle walk following our guide, who will explain you about the wildlife and flora and fauna. Same time you will visit the Elephant Breeding Center where you will learn about the life of Elephant and sometime play with the e baby Elephant. Lunch is served and rest time at 3pm drive to the safari point. Experience the elephant back safari inside the deep forest. You will see wild animals one horned Rhino, deer, bear, tiger, leopard, wild boar, peacock and other many birds. Finally end of the trip in Chitwan.

      Tihar, the Nepalese festival, is compared by many with the Deepawali festival of India. The purpose of celebration is to worship Goddess Laxmi. According to Hindu scriptures, Laxmi is the Goddess of Wealth. The devotees lit oil lamps and candles to illuminate their homes. Kathmandu dons the look of a sparkling diamond on Tihar. The festival is celebrated for five days beginning from the thirteenth day of the waning moon in the month of October. Fifth day, also known as BhaiTika, is the day of brothers and sisters. Sister applies red tika on the forehead of brother. An intriguing ritual is also followed. Sisters walk around the brothers three times dropping oil on the floor from a pitcher. Sisters pray for brothers' long life and prosperity while brothers offer gifts. Then delicious Tihar feast takes place in the households.

      Chitwan-Kathmadnu

      After breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu for 5hrs. Check in hotel. Walk to the local market - Assan Street then enter Kathmandu durbar square where you can see living goddess-Kumari and so many temples rich in art and culture. Taleju Temple, KalBhairab, Nautale Durbar and Kasthamandap are famous among all.
